Why work with me?
I’m an International Coaching Federation (ICF) PCC-accredited coach, with over 1,500 hours of coaching experience, and an accredited coaching supervisor with a Diploma in coaching supervision from the Coaching Supervision Academy (CSA).
I'm also a trainer, mentor coach and assessor for the ICF accredited coach training run by the Institute of Coaching Studies.
I love supporting my amazing clients on a deep, creative and playful level. I'm passionate about the craft of coaching and supporting development and ethical standards in coaching through continued coaching supervision, training and mentoring of coaches.
I work online globally or face-to-face in Folkestone (Kent) and surrounding areas, and London.

Coaching supervision is a deep reflective, creative and safe space for you as a coach (or similar practitioner), in the Folkestone area and/or online, to think, talk and understand more about interactions with your clients, how you are as a coach and your coaching business. It’s also an opportunity to support your professional development, competencies and wellbeing and to discuss ethical dilemmas.
Please note that this coaching supervision isn't the same as when we talk about supervision in another context, so it doesn't mean to manage or oversee someone's work or to be present with them while they work.
EMCC Global’s definition of the purpose of coaching supervision is:
To ensure the supervisee maintains appropriate professional standards
To facilitate the development of the supervisee’s professional practice
To provide support for the supervisee’s well-being
Within this I love to offer opportunity for creative, playful conversation as I believe this approach supports learning, reflection and insight, as well as being fun.
Coaching supervision is a wonderful opportunity to observe all areas of your practice from different perspectives, uncover blind spots and to be positively challenged.
You can find additional descriptions of coaching supervision on the EMCC Global website.
Up to 10 coaching supervision hours count towards ICF CCE hours for (re)accreditation and EMCC Global requires coaching supervision for accreditation.
Coaching supervision in Folkestone
Why is coaching supervision important?
According to EMCC Global:
“Reflective Practice
First and foremost, supervision is a form of facilitated reflective practice; it is a reflective dialogue that is designed to ensure we are all delivering our best work in the service of our clients, their organisations and all stakeholders.
Professionalisation
Globalisation brings challenges that highlight the importance of supervision. As the definitions of practice areas like leadership, coaching, team coaching, mentoring, supervision and organisational development shift between languages, cultures, industries and geographies, and develop over time, the value of supervision increases, reinforcing a professional approach around the world.
Accreditation
Accreditation supports and regulates an individual’s ongoing professional practice and provides a focus for their ongoing development. A commitment to supervision is a requirement for accreditation as a practitioner.
Professional Assurance
EMCC Global believes that supervision is a requirement for professional practice, and a means by which practitioners can ensure they are acting with responsibility and accountability.
Ethics and Inclusivity
EMCC Global adopts an integrated approach. The Supervision Framework, The Global Code of Ethics and Diversity and Inclusion Declaration sit alongside other resources that contribute to the awareness of the supervisor, whose role includes supporting the supervisee to maintain high, ethical standards in their practice, and maintain an inclusive mindset and approach."
